Youβll get a confirmation once itβs done β and your card will be ready to use straight away.
We send all OakNorth Visa debit cards by Royal Mail 1st Class, and they usually arrive within a week.
If itβs been more than 7 business days and your card still hasnβt arrived, contact us and weβll look into it for you.
For security reasons, a PIN is automatically assigned to your card. If youβd like to change it, you can do so at any ATM by selecting βPIN servicesβ from the menu and following the prompts.
Weβve put limits in place to help protect your account. The maximum amount you can spend in a day is Β£50,000.00, and the maximum for a single transaction is Β£50,000.00. When it comes to withdrawing cash, the limit is Β£750.00 each day.
While most transactions are fee-free, certain activities may incur charges, such as ATM withdrawals and international transactions. If youβd like to know more, see a breakdown of our fees.
Our cards can be used whereverΒ VisaΒ is accepted in the UK, most of the European Economic Area (EEA), the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Qatar, Israel, Singapore, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates. Operations in some countries mightΒ be prohibited βΒ for theΒ fullΒ list of where you can and canβt use your card, head toΒ our restrictions page.
Please note that international transactions may be subject to fees and currency conversion charges. Learn more about our fees and Visa’s exchange rate.
The billing address for your OakNorth Visa debit card is your companyβs correspondence address. You provided this when you first set up your business account. To check it, go to the βCardsβ section of the app, or head to the βCompany detailsβ section of your profile settings on the app or web.
Sometimes, the final amount for a transaction can vary slightly from the initial charge. This can happen for various payments, such as booking a hotel or renting a car, tipping at a restaurant, or even catching public transport.
If a transaction has left your account balance negative, youβll need to top up as soon as possible to be able to use your account again. Until you do so, transactions will decline because there wonβt be enough money in your account.
For more information, see our Terms and Conditions.
