Your Earn savings vault explained

Earn is an easy-access savings vault where you can earn interest on idle cash. It comes with the OakNorth business account, so it’s automatically opened once you’re approved for an account. The interest rate is variable and remains competitive. To start earning interest, you just need to transfer money from your Spend account to your Earn account.

You can easily transfer between accounts on mobile and web in a few clicks, just follow these steps.

On app,

1. Open the OakNorth Business app.
2. Tap the Payments tab at the bottom of your screen, then choose ‘Transfer between accounts’.
3. Enter the amount, select the accounts you’re transferring between, and click ‘Continue’.
4. You’ll get a confirmation once the money is sent.

Likewise, on web

1. Open OakNorth on web and log in to your account.
2. Tap the Payments tab on the left of your screen, then choose ‘Transfer between accounts’.
3. Enter the amount, select the accounts you’re transferring between, and click ‘Continue’.
4. You’ll get a confirmation once the money is sent.

Just a heads-up, you’re transferring into a next-day savings account. This means when you withdraw money from Earn, it will arrive in your current account the next business day.
