The challenge

Founded in 2015 by Lee Stimpson, Little Explorers is one of the most popular nurseries in the South East of England, offering high quality education that aims to help children meet their full potential, academically, socially and emotionally. 

As a result of the nursery being at full capacity, it was in need of growth capital to acquire and develop a second site, as well as go towards its long-term aim of developing five more nurseries across the outskirts of London over the next decade.

Opportunity and outcomes

We supported Little Explorers with a bespoke facility that allowed the business to acquire a new site in the Epping Forest area and convert the eight-bed detached house into a new nursery. 

Now with the capital in place, Little Explorers is on track to meet its aim of developing further sites over the coming decade.
