CEO of Gold Care Homes, Sukhi Gidar, to acquire the 382-key Delta Hotels by Marriott Heathrow Windsor, following £18.2m loan from OakNorth

London, 09 December, 2025: OakNorth, the digital bank for entrepreneurs, by entrepreneurs, has provided an £18.2m loan to support Sukhi Gidar, CEO and co-founder of Gold Care Homes, in the acquisition of the 382-key Delta Hotels by Marriott Heathrow Windsor.

Sukhi brings more than 25 years of property and operational experience in the UK’s real estate sector, having built Gold Care Homes into one of the UK’s leading care home groups. Since launching from one site in Hertfordshire in 1999, the group today comprises of 45 homes, supporting over 3,000 residents.

Located between Heathrow Airport and the popular town of Windsor, and benefitting from year-round corporate, airline crew, conference, and leisure demand, the hotel offers a compelling blend of scale, connectivity, and brand strength. The property includes 382 contemporary guest rooms, a fully equipped leisure club, and multiple F&B outlets including Market Kitchen, Pizza da Marco, and the Brew Bar Lounge. Guests also benefit from 19 meeting and event spaces accommodating up to 400 delegates, extensive on-site parking, and convenient access to major transport links. The hotel has undergone significant refurbishment in recent years, including upgrades to guestrooms, meeting spaces, and building systems, ensuring it continues to meet the standards expected of the Marriott Delta brand.
