How do OakNorth Visa debit cards work?

Once your business account is open, you can issue OakNorth Visa debit cards directly from your dashboard: no waiting, no need to fill out forms. Set spend limits for each card and control ATM access. Cards are delivered in 3–5 business days. You’ll also have access to a dedicated Business Partner if questions come up.

FAQs

We can issue you – and members of your team – a free OakNorth Visa debit card when you open a business account with us.

Admins can order cards any time in the web platform.

To order a card:

  1. Go to ‘Cards’ section of the web platform.
  2. Select ‘Create card’.
  3. Choose who the card is for – their name will appear on the card. If they’re not already a member of your account, you’ll need to invite them via the app first.
  4. Link the card to the relevant account.
  5. Set transaction and monthly spend limits. You can update these at any time.
  6. Review the details and hit ‘Create’. You’ll need to enter your passcode to confirm.

While most transactions are fee-free, certain activities may incur charges, such as ATM withdrawals and international transactions. If you’d like to know more, see a breakdown of our fees.

Our cards can be used wherever Visa is accepted in the UK, most of the European Economic Area (EEA), the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Qatar, Israel, Singapore, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates. Operations in some countries might be prohibited – for the full list of where you can and can’t use your card, head to our restrictions page.
