OakNorth Bank to support high quality specialist care provider with development funding

OakNorth Bank, the digital bank for entrepreneurs, by entrepreneurs, has provided bespoke funding to leading care home provider, Exemplar Health Care, to support the development of new care homes across the UK.

Headquartered in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, and founded in 1999 originally as a healthcare management consultancy and training firm, Exemplar Health Care opened its first complex needs care home in 2003, named Greenside Court. Now employing 2,700 staff members and operating 44 care homes across Yorkshire, the Midlands, the North East and the North West, Exemplar provides more than 1,100 beds to adults living with a range of complex and high acuity needs, including neuro-disability, brain injury, spinal injury, stroke, mental ill-health, physical disability, learning disability and/or autism and complex dementia.
